Can I trust strangers in my home?
Every Halo cleaner is fully insured and background-checked, vetted before they ever enter a home, and you will have their name before they arrive. You do not need to be home.
What if I am not happy with the clean?
Tell us within 24 hours and we come back and re-clean that area at no charge. No forms, and no argument about whether it counts. That is the whole guarantee.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Starting prices are published: $129 general, $199 deep, $279 move-in/out, with $50 off your first clean. There is no hourly meter, no surcharge and nothing added after the clean. What you are quoted is what you pay.
How soon can you come?
We hold a small number of slots for short-notice work. Book online and pick the soonest opening. Most new clients are scheduled within a few days, and sometimes the same week.
Do you bring supplies?
Everything, including a full-size HEPA vacuum and non-toxic products that are safe around children and pets. Supplies are never billed separately.
I have pets. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Pet hair removal is included in the Deep Clean and available as an add-on otherwise. Anything you want handled a particular way goes into your written home profile.
How and when do I pay?
After the clean is done, never before, by card, ACH, Apple Pay or Zelle. There is no contract and you can cancel at any time.
Which service do I need?
If someone cleaned properly in the last month or two, a General Clean. If it has been longer, or there is visible buildup, a Deep Clean. If the home is empty and changing hands, a Move-In/Out Clean.
Do I need to be home?
No. Most clients are not. You can arrange access however you prefer, and we confirm who is coming before the visit.
Do you serve my neighborhood?
We cover Chicago proper, concentrated in the north, northwest and central neighborhoods. The current list is here. If yours is not on it, get in touch anyway, because we are adding routes.
